Factory Built Housing

Factory Built Housing is a term used to describe housing products that are built in a factory and delivered to a home site. There are two types of factory built housing:

• Manufactured Housing, which deals with homes that are built to the Federal Manufactured Home Construction Standards (of HUD code).
• Modular Housing, which deals with homes that are built to state established Modular Building Codes.
