Factory Built Housing is a term used to describe housing products that are built in a factory and delivered to a home site.
There are multiple types of factory built housing:
Manufactured Housing, which deals with homes that are built to the Federal Manufactured Home Construction Standards (of HUD code).
Industrialized (Modular) Housing, which deals with homes that are built to state established Modular Building Codes.
Commercial Modular Buildings - Regulations are currently being drafted.
