About Installment Payments

Installment payments may be collected by a tax collector or school districts can assign the installments to a third party or contract with an independent tax bureau to collect the installments. In addition, school districts may authorize the collection of installment payments by electronic fund transfer or credit card. In addition, tax collectors may request that school districts consider increasing their compensation for the additional administrative costs incurred by the tax collector.
