Census 2010

The Department of Community and Economic Development continues to work with the PA State Data Center (PASDC) to offer Census related training for municipalities.  The upcoming training to be offered in May/June 2011 will be focused on Census 2010, the County Question Resolution (CQR) to show municipalities how they may challenge the data, and a technical skills instruction on the use of census data for planning purposes.

The Governor’s Center for Local Government Services trains local government officials through the PA Local Government Training Partnership. The courses are designed to keep municipal officials current on new laws and legislative requirements and enhance their ability to govern more effectively. Training is provided through a partnership agreement with the local government associations.
