Local government officials keep their communities running smoothly. Along with the day-to-day demands of running a city or a municipality, they must frequently respond to issues involving the businesses and/or citizens of their communities. Finding information must be quick and easy. The Governor’s Center for Local Government Services is a one-stop shop that provides that information.
Its mission is to:
- Be the principal advocate for local governments.
- Provide vital programs, services and training to local officials and municipal employees.
- Cut through red tape expeditiously to solve problems at the local level.

There are many resources available to help local governments:
