Effective September 1, 2008, the Department of Community and Economic Development will require all funding applications to be submitted using the Electronic Single Application. Paper applications will no longer be accepted. A copy of the submitted electronic application, the signature page and any supplemental/addenda information should be forwarded to DCED’s Customer Service Center, 400 North Street, 4th Floor, Harrisburg, PA 17120. Any questions regarding addenda submissions should be directed to the Customer Service Center at 1-800-379-7448.

Alternative and Clean Energy Program
The Alternative and Clean Energy Program provides financial assistance in the form of grant and loan funds that will be used by eligible applicants for the utilization, development and construction of alternative and clean energy projects in the Commonwealth. Digital and Robotic Technology
The Technology Collaborative (TTC) was formed in January 2005 through the merger of the Pittsburgh Digital Greenhouse and the Robotics Foundry. TCC is a statewide economic development organization whose mission is to help increase Pennsylvania's technology-based economy through the development of collaborative industry clusters that leverage the region's world-class assets in advanced electronics, cyber security, and robotics. TTC helps to create an ideal environment for business expansion through leverage of the region's high-tech base, along with resources and support from local universities, private foundations, regional development organizations, federal, state, and local government, and industry. TCC enables regional economic growth through utilization of this "business friendly" environment to attract new companies to the region, help local companies grow, and foster start-ups. As a member-driven initiative, TTC delivers high-value-add programs and services that start-up and expansion businesses need. The services include: collaborative research, education and training, extensive business support, networking opportunities, and employee recruitment services.

Discovered and Developed in PA Program (D2PA)
The Discovered and Developed in PA Program has been established to build capacity to better support Pennsylvania businesses and to spur creativity and innovation in the provision of economic development services. October 1, 2011 Announcement: The Department of Community and Economic Development will begin accepting proposals for the Discovered and Developed in PA Program on October 15, 2011. Job Creation Tax Credits (JCTC)
The Job Creation Tax Credit program awards a $1,000-per-job tax credit to businesses that exhibit leadership in technology and create new jobs in the Commonwealth within three years of the project start date.

Keystone Innovation Zone Tax Credit Program
An incentive program that provides tax credits to for-profit companies less than eight years old operating within specific targeted industries within the boundaries of a Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ) Program. With a total pool of up to $25 million in tax credits available to KIZ companies annually, the KIZ tax credit program significantly contributes to the ability of young KIZ companies to transition through the stages of growth.

Keystone Special Development Zone (KSDZ)
The Keystone Special Development Zone (KSDZ) program was established for the purpose of providing incentives to for-profit businesses that locate and operate in designated geographic zones. The KSDZ program is an incentive-based tax credit program to foster redevelopment of these former industrial and commercial sites.

Marketing to Attract Tourists
The Five-Year Strategic Tourism Plan 2010 highlighted Pennsylvania’s Ability to attract a consistent flow of visitors year round, but also recognized a need to develop assets to help increase visitor length of stays. This is the Commonwealth’s most pressing tourism opportunity and challenge. The Marketing to Attract Tourists Program provides funding to support and development heritage assets, enhance outdoor recreation and support the growth or development of various events.
