Trade Mission to Mexico

You are invited to join us on a business development mission to Mexico, November 7-11, 2011.

Meeting face-to-face with prospective business partners is crucial to establishing successful long-term business relationships in Mexico. We can help you meet your business objectives by designing a business itinerary tailored to your company’s specific needs.

Benefits of Participation

  • Customized appointments with pre-screened business partners (distributors, agents, buyers, etc.) based on your needs and requirements
  • Logistical assistance
  • Insider-market briefings on local economies, business culture, legal and other business issues
  • On-the-ground assistance from Pennsylvania's Authorized Trade Representative in Mexico
  • Follow-up assistance

Companies usually have 3-5 appointments a day.

Who Should Participate?

Companies from all industry sectors are welcome to participate. Given the size and the dynamics of the market, there are still vast opportunities for Pennsylvania exporters in virtually any industry sector.

Why this Market?

As a neighboring country of the U.S. and member of NAFTA, Mexico is a natural market for U.S. exporters.

With a growing population and an expanding economy, Mexico became the United State’s 2nd largest export market; while it represents the 3rd largest destination for Pennsylvania-produced goods and services. The U.S. remains Mexico’s largest trading partner. In fact, over 50% of Mexico’s total imports come from the U.S. The volume of U.S. exports had been increasing by at least 20% annually for 5 consecutive years until the downturn in 2009.

With a GDP of $1.09 trillion (2008) Mexico is the largest economy in Latin America. The country’s population is 111 million (2010 est.).
