Using technology to drive innovation

The manufacturing industry has long formed the foundation of Pennsylvania’s economy — a status maintained over the years through dynamic evolution to meet modern needs and the incorporation of innovative methods.

Today, manufacturing has expanded to include the use of cutting-edge technology to improve products and/or processes. The state is embracing one such subsector, additive manufacturing, which uses an innovative, cost-effective 3-D printing process that is revolutionizing the industry in Pennsylvania.
