Manufacturing Ombudsman

The Pennsylvania Manufacturing Ombudsman was created to assist manufacturers in navigating programs and regulations of state government and also help in resolving problems manufacturers may have with state agencies. The Ombudsman is a single point of contact for manufactures to call for information or with specific questions.

What does the Manufacturing Ombudsman do?

  • Serves as the primary advocate for manufacturing businesses.
  • Provides information and referrals to manufacturers that are requesting specific services in areas such as financing, education and training, technical assistance and regulatory issues.
  • Resolves issues or complaints companies may have with state government.
  • Advocates for the manufacturing sector and advises the Secretary of DCED and the Governor on issues facing Pennsylvania’s manufacturers.
