Can You Afford to Go Global?
Can your company pay for the costs associated with doing business abroad? New-to-export businesses will need money for initial development. They may also incur advertising, product localization, and facility costs. And all businesses will incur ongoing logistical fees, like documentation, duties and tariffs, and insurance. As you consider moving your business into the global marketplace, ask yourself:
- Do I have money for initial export business development?
- How much can I afford to spend each year on exporting?
- Can I wait three or more years to see a return on my investment?
