The Department of Community and Economic Development’s Technology Investment Office has released the 2007 Pennsylvania TechFormation Report, entitled Measuring Up: Enhanced Metrics for a New Economy. The enhanced metrics outlined in this report is a result of a year-long effort including all of the partners of the Technology Investment Office. The report outlines the indicators for success in Technology Based Economic Development and provides consistent definitions for the collection of that data. Implementation of the new measurement process is now in the pilot phase
